Like the old gray mare, video production just ain’t what it used to be.

Before 2005, getting your videos on the web was a big pain – the files weren’t small enough, you had to host video on your own server, people weren’t really “looking” for videos.

Obviously, YouTube changed all that.

But how does a small business capitalize on the power of local search and video production?

There are at least two things to think about – production and search.

Rather than go into another step-by-step blog post, I’ll just list out some video production sources that will help you out.

Video Production Resources

Videomaker.com – from their own site “Product reviews, articles and beginner information on consumer video production. Empowering people to make videos in way that inspires, encourages and equips for success. Learn to be an expert in making great videos.” And, yes. That’s what they do. Great resource.

ReelSEO.com – These guys are THE source for what’s going on in the online video world. I love their content. They provide great tips and tricks on getting the most out of your video production work and, more importantly, video seo (VSEO).

www.dv.com – From their site: “Magazine for the video buff. Provides news, reviews, and new technology updates.” They’ve got video production DIYS, blogs and forums to help out the would-be small business video producer.

And if you’re look for video (of course you are), just search video production tips videos on YouTube.

We’ve also done some video production in Austin and doing more daily.
