Talmadge Boyd @Talmadge
Talmadge Boyd @Talmadge has been building businesses around online communities since the late nineties. After running a bumper sticker company with a small group of angry, suburban white kids, he attended Acton Business School to learn how to bring his love of community involvement to business and received an MBA in Entrepreneurship.
Since graduating he’s used internet marketing to rapidly prototype and sell www.sweetping.com, a social CRM application, in under three months.
Most recently he used social bookmarking tools to launch www.weightnags.com. The site launched in 24 hours, and currently, over 1000 people are signed up to receive snarky, electronic tough love. Weightnags.com was featured in www.springwise.com, www.canada.com and BBC Radio and will be in the the April ‘09 issue of Inc. magazine.

Weston Norton @bigmanweston
Weston Norton@bigmanweston worked in the film and television industry for seven years in nearly every capacity of production: He’s shot film in Mexicali’s only active morgue and helped build a winter wonderland in 100-degree heat on Paramount Studios’ backlot. After earning his MBA from Acton Business School, he coupled his media production skills with a passion for social media to start helping small businesses better engage their customers through online social networking.
Recently, he has been working with Aldea Artisans, a fair trade apparel start-up. The DVD he produced to illustrate their mission generated sufficient buzz among Whole Foods’ buyers to secure west coast distribution with Whole Foods. Their site is still in development, but the video can now be seen online here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJU3Y8LWaFY
